Unknown Notification Icon

[ Edited ]
About a week ago an icon appeared in the notification section of my Blackberry's desktop. I have been digging around on the intertubes for the last few days with no luck. It appears to be an update notice of some sort, but I can't find any software on the phone that requires an update. I can't figure out how to post an image with the new thread so I will be posting a link to the image on the web. Anyone have any idea what this icon means?

Re: Unknown Notification Icon

Your link results in

"File not found!

If you're looking for an image, then it's probably been deleted or may not have existed at all. Bummer!"
Do you see the icon below?

Re: Unknown Notification Icon

It does not appear to be in the list that you provided. I've edited the link so that the image now appears in the original post.

Have a look and see if you can tell what it is.

Re: Unknown Notification Icon

Can't tell what that is at all. Sorry, too blurry.

Try this:  http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Community-Feedback-and-Ideas/How-to-post-a-screen-shot-of-you...

Or at least describe it?

Re: Unknown Notification Icon

Aparently Chrome does not handle the post tools correctly which expalins why I was unable to post a pic before.

However I am unable to get the image upload tool to allow me to select anything other than a URL as the source of the image. So I have reattempted the imgur.com post, but I have created an account in hopes of avoiding the issues from before.

Re: Unknown Notification Icon

Yea, that's nothing I recognize, so it is going to be a third party application you have installed with some notification for you. I don't know which one, I don't know what you have installed.

Re: Unknown Notification Icon

Remove the application called Flashlight: 2 for 1 Free. I also got this error message. Notification dissapeared as soon as I removed the application.

It's a notification from Flashlight: 2 for 1 by Motek Americas.  You probably have the app installed and there's an update for it.

I hope that helps you.  Smiley Happy

EDIT:  Oops, sorry for posting the solution AGAIN......just noticed the post above mine from jeroendegrieck.  Sorry. Smiley Sad
