Re: Unlocked BB 9500 for GSM

9530 will only reach 3G on CDMA, EDGE(2G) on GSM

Im pretty sure 9500 will be the same

there are not many BBs that work on 3G for GSM... Bold I think is the only one, maybe the 8900

I dont notice a difference between EDGE and 3G anyways.

other than that there are no limitations with the 9530 I have on GSM network

Re: Unlocked BB 9500 for GSM

I did finally got the BB Storm 9500 unlocked. I have some issues with it and need help

1) It is unlocked but still it shows as Vodafone screen. Is it really unlocked?

2) the touch screen is shaky (in the sense there is gap between touch screen and outer layer of the phone), is this how it is ?

3) The camera is not funtioning. Im able to use video camera when i enter through application menu but when i directly click camera in main menu it hangs. pressing convenience key at right (set to launch camera) it get hanged. Why is it so? is it defective piece. Im worried now.

The return policy is also very bad they deduct 15%.

I need help urgently to decide. Please Please someone reply me. help me

Sam
