I have a blackberry storm 9530 that has an unresponsive screen. The buttons and everything will work and I can connect it to a computer. Also when I try to transfer the files like pics and videos from the device I go onto the desktop software and click pictures and click "Get Started" but when I click that it will say "A Problem Occurred While Attempting To Connect To Your Blackberry Device". Can someone pleas help me?!?!?

Let me expand on @Ereeamazing 's suggestion.
To do a proper battery pull, remove your battery while your phone is powered on then replace it a few seconds later. You'll lose no data and this will clear out your phone's cache which should improve performance.
Let us know if that helps you.

If you're having issues connecting with BlackBerry Desktop Software, have a look here:

Have a look in BlackBerry World for BlackBerry Virtual Expert and download it to your phone (it's free). It will allow you to perform tests on various components of your phone to see if they're working correctly or not. Search BBW for 'BBVE'.
Other than that, the only other solution is to reload the OS to your phone. If you decide to do this, do a data backup with BlackBerry Desktop Software first.
