Update Software

I am presently on BB software version 7.0 Bundle 2395. The Desktop software says update available (7.1 bundle 1646 - v7.1.0.523 platform Everytime I download the software up to module 757 of 1060 it says it has an error and cannot update it any further. Is there a way to resolve this? Thanks.

Uninstall Blackberry Desktop Manger, then re-download the newest one: http://us.blackberry.com/software/desktop.html


Also, go to Add/Remove Programs (assuming you are using windows) and make sure there are no other Desktop Manger installations (or Blackberry programs). Sometimes when you do a Blackberry update it will install a separate item(s).
