Update fails on file downloads

Hello.  I have tried to update my BB9930 several times using the desktop app, and each time it appears to hang with 24 files left to download.  Finally I dug around and discovered the Log Window, so now I see why it's failing to update.  It cannot a file that it needs, so it eventually fails (after several silent attempts to download that one file) and unwinds back to where I started.

From the log:

Re: Update fails on file downloads

For fun, I attempted to download the file that's failing via the browser:

http://cdn.bfs.websl.blackberry.com/bfs/bfs/production/uam/9cafbd98e22de0a32752873ea85a19ae471bea00/...

The browser makes the connection and begins the download process, but the file never actually transfers.  It's like both  sides agree on the transfer, but the sender never starts sending.  Eventually it times out (just like as happens within the updater).

Re: Update fails on file downloads

Seriously RIM, do you read these?

You have a problem with your download server.  I have shown the exact URL to the file that fails to download.

I know RIM is hurting these days, but have they laid off all their IT staff?  The way to recover from impending commercial doom is to do better, not worse.
