Hello, can anyone help? i did an update on my bold last night, the last message on screen was that my devise would not be able to be used for up to 2hrs, now for the last 13 hrs the screen message is 'Backing up your Data' and only reads 7% progress. the phone is also very hot. What has happened? Thanks for any advise.

To fix this issue, I suggest trying to reload your BlackBerry Device Software by following the steps in this article. http://blackberry.com/btsc/KB10144
Please note that this process will remove all data, so you will need a previously taken backup file to restore your information.
