Upgrading SD card

I have a Bold 9700 which came with a 2GB SD card. I would like to upgrade the card to a 4GB or 8GB. But I am concerned that this might slow down my phone. Can anyone advise me on this matter?

Thanks !

Re: Upgrading SD card

Won't happen, you'll be fine.

You want to shop for a MicroSDHC card.

Re: Upgrading SD card

Yes I've been running with a 8GB for over a year. A SD card won't slow down your device

Check out the following table if you're curious what sizes you'll be able to get
