Using USB cable

When I insert the USB cable into my Blackberry Curve I get a message saying:

(USB charging is not sufficient.Verify that your handheld is connected to a powered USB charging source and that the proper USB driver is installed.)

It neither charges the phone battery nor enable me to transfer data from my computer to my BB Curve.

What is the reason for this and what can I do to solve this problem?

Regards,

Carlos

Re: Using USB cable

Download and install the Desktop Manager to your PC. I would recommend version 4.6 withOUT the media manager, or download and install the BlackBerry USB and Modem drivers to your PC to power up your USB ports for an adeqate power charge.

Re: Using USB cable

I downloaded the french version and it worked because i no longer get the message.

However, I still cannot transfer data such as music and pictures from my PC to my BB Curve.

Why is this happening?
