Re: VERY SLOW, LAGS & FREEZES!!

I agree that the device switch wizard is part of the problem. I also totally swiped it cleaned the Torch memory and reset it.

Yesterday BB also installed a huge update. Not sure if the problem is still there. I am too busy trying to successfully sync with Outlook. no luck yet.

Re: VERY SLOW, LAGS & FREEZES!!

Phone worked ok once I did a complete wipe of my profile on the BES and the phone.  Now that I have been using it for a while, the lag is back.  Not as bad, but getting worse as time progresses.  Not very happy.

UPDATE!

So after much frustration, I tried the leaked software on the internet that came out Monday. Now the phone works WONDERFULLY with out any freezing or lagging issues! RIM needs to push out an offical update ASAP before more people jump ship.

Re: VERY SLOW, LAGS & FREEZES!!

The leaked build has a lot of good changes, though I am starting to suspect a faulty device. Mine is constantly warm and intermittently getting the "clock" for 10-20 seconds at a time, mostly noticable when playing real-time games. I would still be willing to blame a misbehaving app, but looking at the task cpu usage... It reports <1% activity at any given time.

I think I'll give it a month for the next shipments to arrive, then exchange the unit under warranty. (My front button plate makes a loud clacking noise anyway...)

Google it. Smiley Wink I don't think BlackBerry would be too keen in someone posting a link in their forums.

Re: VERY SLOW, LAGS & FREEZES!!

I'm sure how I made a blank reply - I think my Torch got offended at my comment and tried to take matters into its own hands.

If any mods are awake, I'd appreciate if you could remove this post and the blank Smiley Happy
