I agree that the device switch wizard is part of the problem. I also totally swiped it cleaned the Torch memory and reset it.
Yesterday BB also installed a huge update. Not sure if the problem is still there. I am too busy trying to successfully sync with Outlook. no luck yet.

Phone worked ok once I did a complete wipe of my profile on the BES and the phone. Now that I have been using it for a while, the lag is back. Not as bad, but getting worse as time progresses. Not very happy.

So after much frustration, I tried the leaked software on the internet that came out Monday. Now the phone works WONDERFULLY with out any freezing or lagging issues! RIM needs to push out an offical update ASAP before more people jump ship.
