Validating email account

My BB Bold 9800 has asked me to validate my email account. It has asked for my email account password which I have entered correctly but the systems continuously rejects my password?

Please assist.

What email service?

Hotmail, GMail, Yahoo, etc?

Can anyone help me on this problem or its Hotmail server problem?


 Yesterday, i deleted my Hotmail set up in my BB and then try to re-set it up again. I cannot seems to get it done eventhough the email set up is so simple. When i tried to set up/add new email (Hotmail), after keying in the email id and password, i get the message "! Update Failed" Tried again and again, same message!


Im using 9800.
