My device was not receiving texts from the O2 UK service, so I was given a replacement sim card.
Phone number <removed>. New sim also <removed>.
Now blackberry is asking for a blackberry id.
Tried all my mail account names as blackberry ids but none are valid.
I do not want to create new id as i value the photos on the device.
Can you please advise ... cheers

Sometime if we change or use a new SIM card your BlackBerry ID account become out of sync, then it prompts to enter the BlackBerry ID and the password on our device as per security reasons. Regarding your current issue I suggest first do a back of your device , for help refer to this Article How To Backup Your BlackBerry .
When you are done , follow this Knowledge Base to resolve your issue :
