What type of video files does the curve play? I have tried a few .avi files. Some play, some dont, which I cant understand.

Re: Video files

I did yes, but I have tried setting the video codec as mpeg4 (xvid). I now get a pic but sound is out of sync. Its fine on my pc.

Re: Video files

on different devices/device OS-es files play in different manner.

Try to "play" with different settings. I think there should be settings which are supported by your device operating system.

Re: Video files

If you're ok with technical information - I recommend you to check a useful tool: GSpot

It shows what codecs were used to encode a specific movie file.

Use this tool to verify a movie that 100% plays on your device.

And it will show you the codec name that used for this movie creation.

I have bookmarked that page but will give it a miss for now until I understand it better.

I have tried to put an .avi file on my 8320 but it wouldnt work. Just came up with sound but no picture. I have tried different formats using the handbrake tool but got broken sound and no pic.0The avi file was taken on a compact digital camera.  Any ideas. This is doing my head in.

Re: Video files

Also tried MKV files as well. My 8300 doesnt even see that. Doesnt show up in the folder. Still cant find anything free to convert from flv and avi to 3gb.
