Voice Reminder feature suggestion

One very useful function I've seen on other PDAs is a "voice" reminder.  This is a Calendar entry with a recorded voice message instead of text.  When the entry's alarm is triggered, the user is prompted to play back the recording, sort of an "MMS for Calendar".

This makes the Calendar much more usable for those times when one cannot look at the screen for more than a brief glance, such as while driving.

A more advanced form of a voice reminder adds voice tags to time unit names such as months, days, hours, am/pm, etc.  The system displays the name of a unit, for example, "June", and the user records a corresponding voice tag, in whatever language they naturally speak.  Once the time units have been tagged, the user can add a voice reminder in a completely non-visual, hands-free manner:

  1.  User clicks a button to make a voice reminder
  2. User speaks the date to be reminded ("October 16 2 PM")
  3. System parses the voice tags to get 10/16/[current year] 2:00 pm and creates a Calendar entry with the Subjec, "Voice Reminder"
  4. User dictates a message
  5. System attaches the message to the Calendar entry
