My Bold 9900 does not work without wifi. My data service cannot recognise my phone. O have tried to contact my service provider and they have told me that , my phone is not being picked up on my data service. WHy is this and is there anything I can do to fix it?

Unfortunately, we have no system access to look deeply into why this is happening for you...but your service provider ceratinly should be able to tell you more details than they so far have. But, here are some guesses:
Those are the places I'd suggest you start...but you need to convince your carrier to look more deeply and tell you if these are true or not.
