Re: Water Damage - software

If a phone is water damaged then many things can happen. Yes software can also be affected...but first it will effect hardware. Can you please let know some details what type software issue you're facing.

Re: Water Damage - software

My phone software won't update. Apps have disappeared and now so has appworld. Tried reinstalling, deleting, updating, you name it but nothing works. Factory reset also. Absolutely nothing!

Re: Water Damage - software

Water damage clearly can affect the hardware.

The hardware runs the software.

So, to answer your question, yes.

If you could explain your issue in more detail, we might can assist.

In what way, for how long?

Re: Water Damage - software

I have no idea when it was meant to have had the water damage. Its gone unknown to me. As I said the phone itself works and there is no visible damage its only a software problem I'm having. O2 have admitted its a software fault and nothing I have tried works to rectify it

Ok. You keep saying the apps don't work, so which apps? They won't open or they do and what?
