WhatsApp

Hi! I just installed WhatsApp but it doesn't seem to work. I have a BB Pearl 8110 and I think the software is 4.5

 

Basically it doesn't send me the text message to confirm the registration once I type my phone number in. Please help me!

Check if you entered the right phone number and the app detectsyour area code but might be wrong... it happened to me Smiley Happy

The number is definitely right and it gets the +39 Italy code right.. UGH

i ve the same issue with my 8120. I ve the app and when they try to send me the code it fails....any advices?

btw is the whatsapp compatible with OS 4.5 and the BB 8120?

Do all BB Pearl 8110 have the 4.5 software? How do I know which version of the software is on my phone?

well

u need to go to 'settings' (icon with a spaner) and go to 'about of' then u ll see what version u have...

otherwise go to 'avanced option' and then 'app' a list ll appear and look for the version...

but if u BB is updated the app he compatible so the problem comes from somewhere else...im thinking about my provider...i ll try to contact it and see if they can fix or explain the problem....

I just checked and I have the 4.5 software. At this point I think I'll contact my provider's customer care and ask them..
