Whenever ever Im on a call, or if I put music on my phone freezes into a black screen and I have to take the battery out of get it working again

Yesterday I was on a phone call an my phone just dropped the call and the screen turned black, the key lights were still on though! I had to take the battery out for it to resart! Once I called them back it did same.....

Then this morning I put music on has I always do and my phone just froze i left it for a while but once again i had to take the battery out then when I played a video the same happen, and then once i got a tet message it did the same. It hasnt done it before, it doesnt have water damage or anything it must have got to do something with the sound because it was fine all day when it was on silent and i didnt play music! It's really important for me to be able to take calls and its such a hassle to have to reasrt that my phone all the time. Please help!

This seems like a software issue.

You can try solving this issue by reinstalling your OS.

 

It can be downloaded from the blackberry site or from you Service Providers Official site which can be found on the link below :

http://in.blackberry.com/support/apps-and-software/desktop-and-device-download-sites.html

 

If the problem persists please take your device to the nearest Official Blackberry Service centre or the official service centre of your service provider.

I recommend taking it to the store first before doing a software reload.  I had the same issue with random shutdowns and the only resolution was to get the device replaced.
