Which desktop version for me?

Hi there,  I have a Curve that is 6 months old.  After I recieve an MMS with sound my earspeaker quits working. I have to pull the battery to get it working. I understand there may be a patch to download to fix this.

I need to download blackberry software on my computer but not sure which version to download from BB website? v4.7, v4.6 etc.

Can anyone help?  I really dont want to carry this to the IT guys at work if I can do it myself, but I am afraid i will screw it up

thanks

Re: Which desktop version for me?

You better use Desktop Manager 4.6 as its been out for a while. People are using it without any problems, no such issues till date. Desktop Manager 4.7 is very new released few days back. Though I'm using 4.7 and not problem faced.

Re: Which desktop version for me?

Hi and welcome to the forums,

Although the installation is pretty straight forward,if you are installing on a networked PC,

having your IT department install it is a good idea. They can determine the best installation

as regards their specific network setup.

I have left links for downloading the correct software and USB drivers as well as the manual

and installation procedure.
