Re: White screen

I'm not too sure, maybe I should leave it to dry more? Or is there anything else I could try? - I don't give up without a fight Smiley Happy

Re: White screen

You could use BBSAK or JL_Cmder to wipe the device and subsequently load the OS to the device. Follow the instructions here:
http://www.blackberryfaq.com/index.php/How_do_I_wipe_the_BlackBerry_using_Jl_Cmder%3F
For BBSAK, here is the link: http://bbsak.org/

I don't know if this will fix it for you or not, but if there's software issues, it could.

Re: White screen

I know it's been a long time since I posted on this topic but I'll post my solution to help other people. When I replaced the screen I didn't check the correct Version number of the LCD. Meaning that the new screen was incompatible with my blackberry - even though they look so identical.

My Blackberry 8520 Loaded and was working fine however when I navigated around the Blackberry 8520 the screen would turn white, so I did a simple security wipe which is found in settings. After the security wipe was completed the phone seems to working smoothly! If I have any problems within the next 2 weeks I'll post here again! Smiley Happy

Thanks for everyone who helped!
