White screen

I took my phone out of my pocket and all I see is a white screen...no hour glass, just a white screen.  I took the battery out and put it back in, but the white screen remains.  The phone appears to be working( LED light is flashing and it rings when I call it from another phone) just still sitting here looking at a white screen...please advise

Hi there!

 

If you have already done the batt-pull, then you've pretty much done all you can short of reloading your OS from scratch. But, before proceeding with that, I'd advise taking it in for warranty evaluation. If you don't want to do so, then here is an article that discusses reloading your OS:
