Tks for advise. If SurePress is not in great favour with storm's users, BB should consider changing rather users spent time replacing the set, unable to run the texting probably. Is that the right way for BB treat their customers ?
Only one problem with your statement -- the premise. I'm not sure what the empirical data shows regarding the "great favour" that SurePress is in or not with users. Indeed, it has won some prestigious awards. Me, I like it. And I also have another "old saying":

I also prefer the sure touchscreen... I tried my son-in-laws iphone and had a problem with my ear opening games while trying to talk. ( no Dumbo jokes please).
The click thing is a positive for me. Besides it seems that its not a OS thing its a design / mechanical thing...

I have two add-on browsers Bolt and Opera Mini 5 Beta 2 that enable simply touching the screen instead of touch/click. Once you are out of the learning curve with the Storm's system it is in my opinion superior to a simple touch screen. With both of the aforementioned browsers you have to touch precisely where you want an action activated. A touchscreen along the same line for data entry would be rife with issues.
You don't have to use your finger tip like using a hammer to click. A light depressing of the appropriate key is all that is needed. If you are overly heavy "handed" that is part of the problem with a touchscreen becoming "glitchy".
