WiFi Connection problem

When i connect my Blackberry Curve 8520 to a WiFi network, it shows that it is connected to that WiFi network. But when i open the browser or any other internet related app, it tells me to connect to a wifi network.

What should i do to solve this issue?

First try a battery pull device reset. When your device is powered on remove the battery and pit it back after 1 minute. If this doesn't resolve the issue then check the below knowledge base article -
