Hi, I have a BB Torch 9860 which connects to my home Wifi fine but does not connect to the internet for some reason. I cannot access the net and get my emails or use a 3rd party browser like opera nor can i do anything. This is a major concern for me as it doesn't matter when i am home but it's amjor concern when i travel abroad.

Hi, thanks for the reply but none of the solutions/articles below helped. except for the fact that in the diagnostics report the blackberry infrastructure connecting has a red x next to it and also i could not ping because my phone did not acquire an IP address over the wifi network for some reason.

If you aren't being assigned an IP address from the DCHP server you might try using a static IP address.
