Windows 8 64bit/Blackberry Tablet/Blackberry Desktop Manager 7.1 Won't connect

Just purchased a new Toshiba Satellite with Windows 8/64 bit.

Downloaded Desktop Manager 7.1 ok.

Installed Net Framework 3.5 Sp1 over what was included with the OEM Windows 8.

Enabled 3.5, in turn on, in control panel.

 

Plugged in my tablet, the manager recognized the device, but clicking on "Connect to Device"

returned a "cannot detect" error.

 

Tried uninstall and reinstall Manager.

Did no good.

 

Anyone help please??
