Wire on inside of Battery Cover ? Black Berry Bold 9900

I just updated my Black Berry bold 9000 to the New Bold 9900 can I was wondering what the wire was for inside the rear battery cover .

If it's what I think you're talking about, it's NFC (Near Field Communication).  That's the feature that allows the transfer of data between your  phone and another by holding the two close to each other.

Thanks Billj for the info its just that I will be fitting a larger battery and the new battery cover does not have the wire .
