Wrong routing to emergency service station

Inserted a new SIM card from different provider on GSN Network. This new number"SIM" was recognized via caller IDs and SIM messages on the dialed party device. This new provider has (110) as their customer  service number.  When calling this (110) number I get emergency service which has a  number 112 " as am in different location" where  110 is a predefined emergency contact number.

It does show on my device screen "Emergancy call" when dialling 110.

I have never been in a place where 110 is the number programmed on handset for emergancy contact.

Re: Wrong routing to emergency service station

Strange. That's something odd with our mobile provider, I don't see how the BlackBerry would have anything to do with that. You're dialing the correct number.

Re: Wrong routing to emergency service station

Am dialing the correct number for customer support not Emergency Station. And it does happened with two different GSM providers 900/1800 MHz.

Those "Emergency Station" guys who usually dispatch ambulance and police in case sickness or accidents.

Pre-paid Blackberry had synchronized with the first one but with this newly acquired number/provider Sitting -> options -> Date/Time yet does not have a network time "Network time not available" after more than 24 Hours.

It is understandable that different providers may have different ways to synchronize with pre-paid handsets.

But as you said it remains strange why their is no main file exist that identify pre-programmed/premeditated numbers such as "Emergency Dispatching Station"

Thanks for your comment.

Re: Wrong routing to emergency service station

I went to one provider's office showed it to them and they did not know why. He dialed the same number on his phone and got invalid number. Changed the SIM card went to the other provider they did the same thing and got the same result. I used another handset G-Tide with the same SIM and got invalid number also.

The other strange thing is when pressing the green button "top left of keyboard" it does not show the 110 number in call history nether as an invalid number nor emergency number.

Thanks,
