Yahoo Mobile website Gateway Error

My browser will not connect to m.yahoo.com anymore because of a "gateway error." No matter what I do I cannot access this mobile website. I am trying to determine if it's the site or my handset browser.

 

Anyone else having this problem?

Hi there!

I suggest the following steps:

1) Register HRT


  • Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > BBKey (it does not matter which line is current) > Register Now



2) Resend Service Books


  • KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service



3) Batt Pull Reboot


  • Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.


Hopefully that will get things going again for you!

Well I went through the steps, registered, resent the service books and did a power on batt pull and waited but I'm still having the same error message from. I even deleted all brower caches and saved cookies.

 

I think I may have found the problem though. I can load m.yahoo.com (the new version) and it comes up fine. I sign in and it's fine. When I go to the My Favorites link at the top it tries to load and gives me the HTTP Error 500: Internal Server Error message. What I think is happening is something I have saved to my favorites is causing the error. I actually can get to this page using my WAPS browser, so I may have to do that and start eliminating favorites to see which one is causing the problem.

 

Sorry for the long response. I'm going to give it a try and see if that resolves the error.

No luck. I get the Error 500 no matter what I do now. Not worth the effort. No Yahoo for me I guess--at least not on this BB.
