Starting a couple of days ago my Yahoo email account is no longer syncing Server > BB (BB > Server is working fine).
Ive deleted/added the account via VZW BIS and on the device both to no avail.
Anyone else experiencing this? BIS or Yahoo issue?

None thus far. Tried a wipe/reinstall and still nothing.
A poster on Crackberry.com seeing the same symptoms thought it was related to a recent BIS outage. So far Yahoo is not syncing for me at all. Frustrating...

I have the same problem. I thought it was my Blackberry. I changed the OS, resent the service books, deleted the accounts, ... nothing worked.
If I delete an email on the Blackberry, it gets deleted on Yahoo. But the read status doesn't work, both ways.

I have the same problem on my BB Storm 2. Tried removing the Yahoo acct from the email setup section, sent the service books, checked all settings, rebooted, etc. Finally, I called Verizon last nite and they forwarded me to BB Support and after 2 hrs on the phone, BB support informed me that it is a known issue and that they are looking into it and would get back to me on this. With me though, it seems that only one way synchronization is working. If I open the new email on my phone and then go into my online Yahoo acct, the email is acknowledged as READ but if I try it the other way, it doesn't work. Anyway, the BB support rep did some troubleshooting and in the end, she took down the RefID information (in Full Keyboard mode, hit ALT and the type the word VIEW (ALT V, ALT I, ALT E, and ALT W)) of a test email that I sent to myself. Hopefully, they'll come up with a solution to the problem shortly. It has to be some sort of update/code that was done from BB's side because I tested this using Gmail on my wife's BB Tour and she is experiencing the same problem as well....Anyway, it's annoying to see messages that I've read showing up on my phone as unread but ah well, what ya gonna do? Aite, keep you guys posted if I hear anything!

At least we know its a BIS (not Yahoo) issue. Lets hope RIM is on top of this and makes the fix quickly.
Using Gmail, server/online to BB read status works but its terribly SLOW (takes hours) - as others users have reported. BB to server/online is pretty quick for both Yahoo and Gmail.

Mine's still not working.
The Yahoo icon disappeared a couple of days ago, too and was replaced by the standard BB one. At least this problem is BIS-related: I was going mad trying to fix it. I tried OS swipe and downgrade, deleted my email account from the BIS and then readded it, cancelled and resent the service books, checked my Yahoo account to see if they'd changed the settings, but nothing doing.

I am also having the exact same issues. I have a BB Curve 8310 (OS 22.214.171.124) and using it on the T-Mobile network in the US. My problem with Yahoo Mail syncing started approximately 2 days ago. Spoke with T-Mobile and they were unable to determine the problem. We resent the service books, deleted and added my Yahoo Mail account, rebooted the phone, etc. all to no avail. Hence, I am glad to find this problem being reported here in the BB forum. I hope BB is working to fix the issue.
