active phone number

Good day all!
On my 9550 storm I needed to type in ##000000 to change my no. But its stil not getting any action on BIS that's activated I would like to know what I can press on my 8520 for that same screen because I want to compare the codes at the 9550 comes from over seas and the codes are different from SA codes. Please help.

hmm...What is your exact query? How to change the display of your phone no. or activating BIS?

 

For activating BIS you need to subscribe BlackBerry data plan from your mobile operator. without this data plan you won't be able to configure your mobile no. for emails or other services.

 

And for changing mobile no. display you need to go to Options > Advanced Options > SIM Card > click Menu and select Edit SIM Phone No. > now change as required.
