after resetting to factory settings cannot create my mail boxes

I reset the BOLD using the security options / general settings / wipe handheld (to erase hundreds of sim contacts that got imported to phone), but now my mail boxes, gmail, yahoo, do not show up?  They still exist on the BB server, but do not show up on the hand held device.  Any help out there...frustrated...

thanks DanV

Re: after resetting to factory settings cannot create my mail boxes

Hi and welcome to the forums!

Go to options advanced options, Host Routing Tables, click to enter. DO NOT click on any listing.
Press menu key, and select register now.
You will get a verification message. Then go to email settings and send service books.
You will get an email per account. See if the problem is resolved.

Thanks,

Re: after resetting to factory settings cannot create my mail boxes

Hi,

You have an icon for email settings, click on it and it will take you to the BIS site.

Once you are logged in, menu key, send service books.

Thanks,

Hi Bifocals,

I cannot find the icon for email settings on the BOLD.  Is there another way to get to the BIS site?

thanks, Danv

Hi,

You can use your PC to access the BIS site, what carrier are you with?

Hi,

I am in Ecuador South America using PORTA carrier.  I went to the BIS Procedure link, but have not logged on to BIS before, so a bit lost...

The normal place for the icon is in the Setup folder, and it is called Personal E-Mail Setup.
