Who is John?

Do this first -- Remove and Leave the battery out of your BlackBerry for five minutes. Reinsert the battery and allow the device to boot fully. Does it?

If not, please post back here.

Likely.

You probably have some old third party application that is not compatible with the 8900, or the operating system you're running.

Re: app error 523 message

  1. Delete and remove ALL third party applications and themes from the device.
  2. Do a backup of the device using Desktop Manager
  3. Reload the Operating System to the device.
  4. Do not load any third party applications at this point, give it a week and see if the Error 523 continues.
  5. If it does not, load new applications one by one, one every couple of days and see if the error returns.
  6. If it does, you'll have an idea which app it is.

Re: app error 523 message

Hi!  I actually did input the wrong password 10 times and my handheld is currently wiping.  It actually worked for me.  Not sure what's gonna happen next, but I am getting positive results as of now.  I will repost and let everyone know what's going on!  Thanks so much.

App error Message

I recent recieved my Torch 9800, and have download a game from my service provider, however when i try to activate it i get this error message

Module 'glumobileltd_f_blackberry9500_de_en_fr_it_pt_lotrdefence_v1_0_0' attempts to access a secure A

I've download other gamnes to see if would have the same problem, byt they have run fine. I've been in contact with my service provider, but have received no satisfactory answers from them, so I am hopinbg some one here might be able to help.
