app error 523

earlier today when i attempted to change the theme on my phone, it went to a white screen tht said in small text app error 523, i tried pressing reset multiple times but it keeps going back to same screen, i tried downloading the update data but i'm not even sure if the data ever reach the phone, every time i click on the file it brings me to install, i've installed it 3 times now, idk what to do please help!!
