app world not working



I have a bold 9700 and was prompted to download the new app world and ever since I did, it hasn't worked. I get an error saying "uncaught exception: java.lang.error". I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, removing the battery and trying again, and nothing works. When I click on bb app world it doesn't open but if I go to switch applications it shows it's running. I'm assuming that I'll need an older version of app world for it to work and not update after that? Any help would be great.
