To determine if this a software issue or hardware issue, I suggest you perform a clean reload of the device software. Follow the steps in this KB article and then test the microphone and handset speaker: www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB11320

Thanks, i tried the software reboot and at first the mic was not working with video recorder, but after reboot it started working. But now during voice calls i am still experiencinc the same problem mentioned before. Any other solutions will be appreciated.
