backup issue



As i m taking BACKUP on my laptop using desktop manager, m getting error " ERROR BACKING UP DATABASE(S).


Pls cnfm how can i take backup.

Clear the database.

As per ur detls, i chk thatlink & got below



Complete the following steps to resolve the issue:
  1. Record the name of the database that you were trying to back up.
  2. In the error message window, click Cancel.
  3. In BlackBerry Desktop Manager, click Backup and Restore.
  4. Click Advanced.
  5. In the Device databases section, select the database and click the Clear button.
  6. Click OK in the warning window.
  7. Click Close.

If i do this then loose my all data, even contacts.
