Same Problem

Hi, I am having the same problem. I recently updated to OS 7.1 on my Bold 9900 and everything was amazing until today. I could send BBM message's but couldn't receive them. Deleted BBM and did an over the air install to get the preveious version of BBM and I did but it is still the same problem. I can send messages but can't receive anything or see activity updates. Everything else on my phone works fine. A couple of people called into my carrier's support number with the same problem. I'm hoping this is just an issue that will be resolved by RIM before they have to make any announcement about it Smiley Sad or someone helps me find a fix because I have tried everything Sorry for interupting a thread it's just been hard to find anything about this. Hey

1. downgrade your bbm to 6.2. 2.back up all your installed data with your bbm contacts 3.go to settings click security, then click security wipe. all data and error willbe wiped..

4.Restore your backued  data and contacts and your bbm will work fine.

NOTE remove memory card before the wipe just to be on a safer side.

Alright, I guess I'm about to try this.. just uninstalled BBM and restarting

jJust backing everything up. Got BBM 6.2 with my contacts going.

You can't sned or receive emails after you wipe the device? Smiley Sad

Ib will tell you what to do complete the wipe and get your bbm working first

so what do i select for the wipe? Emails, Contacts is one box. User installed Apps is another box and Media Card is the last one.
