bbm switchover

i just switched to a new phone and want the same pin how do i keep my old one instead of getting a new pin?

Hi kjewgul16,

 

No you can't keep your old PIN. Every BlackBerry have a unique PIN - cannot be changed.

Ian is correct about the PIN, however you should realize that when you get a new device and associate your new device with your BlackBerry ID, your new PIN is automatically updated in your BBM contacts' lists.  They'll continue to see you as a BBM contact but when they look at your profile on their phones, they'll notice that your PIN is different.  This is all done automatically so you don't have to worry about it.
