hello....i just bought my blackberry bold 9900....and my pin is not working...i can't send or receive any invitation...i went to my wireless provider (simple mobile) and they said i have to wait until december for my bbm pin to work...is it normal?

In essence, Simple Mobile has not provisioned your device with the BlackBerry BIS Data Plan. Once that occurs, yoru PIN messages will work and you will be able to setup email, etc.
No, that is not normal. Most mobile providers will provision the BIS plan within 24 hours. However they may be doing this on yours to coincide with your billing data, I don't know.
Call them and inquire.
