black berry curve restarting

i just got a black berry and every time i plug it in it starts withe the red light the it gose off it loads up after a few minutes gets to the home screen and before i can unlock it it restarts and keeps doing it until it dies  can yu help please

This is likely a software related issue. Try charging the battery again and then reload the OS using the method described here:
