blackberry 8820 wifi email set up

l just got a BB 8820 wireless ,however l cannot seut email

when l go to set up wizar l write my email password then it ask to activate , but l click to activate then it show that activation has failure, l am realy frustrated with this dremed BB as cannot get it working as l thought l have an ipaq PDA and is so easy to seup everything this BB is so frustrating to me

any one can help me please

is it personal or work email address is you are trying to set up?

 

For personal email look for email setup or email settings icon and follow the links.

 

For work email address contact ur IT and chk if they BlackBerry Enterprise Server and if yes get the activation password from them and use Enterprise activation icn on home screen.

Its pretty simple

it is personal email google mail

 

when l start on setup wizard- email setup- then l write my email it ask to activate, l click on activate  it keeps loading then comes a message request failed a service conection unavaible, this is silly because l can browser on internet, it is conect to my wireless service

same as my PDA ipaq and there l am bale to set up my outlook and on blackberry l do nothing

Have you verified if you gmail account settings enable you to access via POP or IMAP?
