blackberry 9780 texts

Hi all, ive had my blackberry for yonks now and never had a problem with it, i have posted on here before a while ago but got no replies cos i dont think anyone knows how to fix it but here goes.....

I use my phone mainly for texting and never been a problem until a while ago, i text my mum a lot at least 4 times a day every day, then all of a sudden she stopped recieving my texts, i went round to her house to see if it was her phone but she has been recieving texts from everyone else and hasnt got a problem at all, she has a samsung (basic) phone.  i can ring her on her number but she doesnt recieve texts... when i text everyone else in my contacts they recieve them? so basically its just this one number that wont recieve my texts, i recieve her texts and calls and i can ring her and everyone else just cant text that number, upto now ive tried battery pull, hard reset, deleting and re adding number, texting the number without being in my contacts, troubleshooting on my phone, not topping up for 3 weeks then topping up, still doesnt work, im at my wits end ready now to buy a new phone because i lost my dad recently and i need to keep in contact with my mum via texts preferably..... please help....thanks gayn

In your other thread (which you should have "bumped" rather than opening a new one...so that the benefit of "what has gone before" can be had by all), did you not see this final reply?

If that is a possibility, it should be investigated.

 

Otherwise, you should contact both mobile service providers for formal support as it is likely a carrier-level issue.

sorry i didnt see the last msg just put a reply on stating that i have tried emptying my phone of messages (and my mums) but still doesnt work, i have contacted t mobile and they havent got a clue either just told me to hard reset  which doesnt work, just dont understand why its just the one number x

Is your Mum also on TMobile? If not, this could be an inter-carrier issue, which is why I earlier recommended contacting BOTH carriers.

And, don't let them fob you off...you pay them for your services, and they are not delivering those services to you in this case. Don't let them fob you off.
