blackberry ID problem!!!

i updated my blackberry messenger, then i needed to log in in order to enter it. it said i should use the account associated with my smartphone.. however when i click the menu key on the homescreen and enter "options", there is no option for account settings... i cannot change my blackberry id associated with my phone. please help

that didnt answer my question? 

i have an account... i need to be able to use it on my phone... it has an old one that doesnt work... and the menu>options doesnt work as i do not have account information listed

So you do not have a blackberry Id associated with your phone (you use blackberry Id to log into app world?)
