blackberry ID won't work

Hi.. I am using a second hand blackberry and at first I was able to log on to blackberry world with my own ID but then when I updated the world app it tells me to use the ID associated with the blackberry how do I fix this? My ID is supposed to be associated with the device..

Have you performed a security wipe before using that used device ? If not then first do a backup of your device using Desktop Software , for help refer to this article How To Backup Your BlackBerry .


Once you have your backup , follow this Knowledge Base article :


KB28225 : BlackBerry smartphone must be security wiped before transferring ownership


After a Security wipe you can use your own BlackBerry ID which will associate with that device .
