blackberry IPD file

hi can any1 help me with the blackberry IPD file i tryd 2 back up my blackberry but i cant open the file. do i need 2 plug my bb in when i try or what? some1 help i need to get my contacts back! thanks x

No, you can't read the IPD file, your BlackBerry Desktop Software can.

Are you wanting to restore your contacts back to your BlackBerry, from the backup file?
