Thanks a million.  This works for me.  I was in a quandry when a cousin of mine wiped the phone and I was unable to send or receive mails.  Tried everything but nothing worked.  Finally I registered with the support forum and as easy as 'ABC'.

Thanks again.  You made my day.

You're welcome.

Sabeeth, do you have ever the BlackBerry data Plan from your current carrier? You must, to get the personal email setup icon.

Re: blackberry bold 9650 email & gprs not working (Verizon)

Dear J Sender!

Thanks for reply.

I have data plan but the problem is, when i click on e-mail setup it will redirect me to enterprise mail activation i just want to remove this option & configure my Exchange mail.
on other hand my 3g data is also not working ithin its becuase no entry in service book.

Now i try to do it from mobile.blackberry.com + mail setup, it says your device is not register.

You cannot remove the enterprise setup option. It's there regardless.

On your Manage Connections screen what is the BIS BlackBerry Internet Service status?

Re: blackberry bold 9900 email setup //HELP!

I think it cause of Verizon OS because i am using GSM & the OS & configuration is for CDMA.

Any idea how can i reinstall normal OS (Without any carrier)?

Re: blackberry bold 9900 email setup //HELP!

Ok... I think I've got this one figured out. I have a Bold 9900.

The setup via the phone's web browser will work (https://<service_provider>.blackberry.com). You can successfully create email accounts from there, more importanly, with that approach, YOU ACTUALLY CAN provide the important settings yourself (OWA address, account, etc).

With one caveat...

If you already have email accounts that were setup via the "Setup Email Accounts" steps on the phone itself, the icons will disappear from the panes and the synchronization will no longer work (i.e., goodbye emails). I went through the process three times to confirm this, and once you enter the phone's email setup again to bring them back (they should still be there), the email accounts you setup via the browser will in turn, disappear!

So the way I see it, you can only choose one option:

1.) Setup ALL your emails via mobile.blackberry.com -> communication -> email

PROs: You CAN provide advanced settings, so complicated OWA settings can be worked out.

CONs: The account settings aren't saved, either on the site or on your phone.

or

2.) Setup ALL your emails via the "Emai Setup" on the phone

PROs: The setup is saved on the phone. You can change settings anytime you want.

CONs: You CAN'T provide advanced settings (as per my tests, this happens on the 2nd OWA accounty you setup)

Go to your Manage Connections screen > Mobile Network > and make sure your Network Technology is set to either Global or to GSM/UMTS.

You should not need to reload the device operating system.
