I couldn't remember my security question answer and I needed to change my forgotten password, so I went to the email I received when I set up my bb id and deleted the id, the redone it and set it up again using the same id. well when I tried to login from my phone it said that I needed to use the id associated with my phone. well it was the same id I had only deleted the account and the reopened it.... so how do I get into it on my phone without doing a security wipe and deleting all my downloads???? do u think that maybe I could call my carrier for help?? what to do????

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

I've seen others post this issue, and the solution as far as I recall is indeed performing the device WIPE and re-associating your BB to that same BBID again. It is drastic, but consider that it is the human element in this high security that failed in this situation...when that happens, there is very little that can automatically happen to enable recovery. Drastic measures are often required when we humans fail in our responsibilities related to high security.
