I took my phone to the phone shop to do the software update thing, and the guy said its not a sofware related issue.
I assume it has water damage... Or I've dropped it and damaged the devise some how.

I have the same issue with my new BB 9790. I return it to shop, they change it for new one and no problem.

If that is the case, then there is no amount of software, OS, or internet-distance diagnostics or recommendations that can help.
