blackberry torch os re-installation, boot to sms spam

I reinstalled the mobile Blackberry 6 on my torch 6800.  After I rebooted, there were 2 messages waiting.  One email stating that my phone has been registered with my carrier, and one SMS message - looks like it was sent to about 9 different numbers that I don't recognize that stated something like "found 5 site user and pass thank you".  Looks like some kind of spam?  Now why would I get that immediately when I re-installed the os?

Re: blackberry torch os re-installation, boot to sms spam

I'm not sure why it would appear directly after an OS reload but if you delete it without replying, you should be fine.  There are no known viruses for BlackBerry devices at this point so just delete it and move on.  If such a message appears again, let us know.

Cheers.  Smiley Happy
