This happened to me, my phone drain out and it didn´t came back on. I tried this and it work for me. You need to make sure yoru phone is recongnized by your PC, with a small amount of battery life.To sol ve the issue to this:
-Connected to AC charger for 1-2 hours.
-Then connected to the PC and open the Desktop Manager Software.
-On the Conection/Options Menu, select USB/ NONE press continue. Change the selection couple of times and suddendly your phone will move from the Battery charging icon to the regular booting clock icon.

Ready for the incredibly simple answer... Here it comes....
When you let the BB battery go ALL the way to zero you need the original cable to charge it back up - Nothing else will do. Don't ask me why but find the original cable and let it sit for an hour and then viola... It'll charge
