bold 9790 overheating when turn on wireless

I don't know what happen, It's fine last week. This week my bb start overheating on me, so I try to figure out what's going on. Finally, when I turn off wireless, it stops overheating. But when I turn it on again, it starts overheating again. 

and the battery burn up like crazy.

Are you referring to WiFi (802.11x) or cellular service?

 

Either way, sounds like you may have a faulty device.

 

Have you tried a factory reset of the device?

What is your device OS version,Is your device running on the most recent OS version from your carrier.To know your device OS version for OS 6 – 7 = Options > Device > About Device Version > first set of numbers on the third line.
